Exploriem.org (e.ORG)
Exploriem.org is an Organization for Professional Entrepreneurs. The Organization appeals not only to entrepreneurs and would-be entrepreneurs but also intrapreneurs and high achievers interested in participating in helping to shape the technological, economic and sociological future. It was initially conceived in 1999 by Dr. Bruce M. Firestone, Founder of the Ottawa Senators, Adjunct Research Professor at Carleton University in the Faculty of Engineering and Design (School of Architecture) and the Eric Sprott School of Business.

Mr. Sandy Foote, IT Strategist and Founder of Footeworks.ca, active in information systems field for more than 24 years in both the private and public sectors; assists organizations develop XML based architectures as well as Digital Asset Management solutions.

Mr. Todd Jamieson, President and CEO, Envision Online Media Inc., a professional involved with top end web applications and design. Mr. Jamieson is also an Assistant Director for Exploriem.org.

The initial impetus for the creation of Exploriem.org came about from a realization that entrepreneurs need a support group- one that can provide needed resources as well as play a public role in terms of commentary on issues as they relate to entrepreneurship. The Organization can also sponsor research in the field of entrepreneurship as well as assist in new business formation.
